The Department of Estates and Facilities Management is a major service provider to Swansea University providing and maintaining buildings, services and internal and external environments to support the core areas of teaching, research and social activity. The department seeks to be highly customer focused in delivering non-core facilities services, such as portering, security, grounds maintenance and cleaning, to enable the University to deliver its core activities efficiently and effectively. The Safety Office is responsible for managing all aspects of safety across the University.
