The School of Physical Sciences at Swansea is home to world-class researchers and facilities, and excellent research-led degree programmes in Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics.
Across its three Departments, each receiving the top ratings of 4* and 3* in the 2008 UK Research Assessment Exercise, current research areas include: particle physics, atomic physics, computational science, complex fluids, partial differential equations, probability, algebra, logic, formal methods for system design, visual and interactive computing, interaction technologies, and the history and social impact of science and technology.
The School is small and students benefit enormously from its intimate and friendly atmosphere.
