Who is eligible:

• Taught Masters and MRes applicants from the UK or EU will be eligible to apply. 
• Applicants should hold (or be expecting to achieve) a miniumum of a 2.1 degree (or equivalent).
• Students should normally be privately funded and must be enrolling on an eligible course at Swansea University for the first time in September 2010.

 

Further information:

Each award will be worth £2,700 and may only be used to offset tuition fees. Bursaries are being offered in every School and are available for full or part-time Masters or MRes study.

 

How to Apply:

If you would like to apply for a bursary you will need to complete a Postgraduate Bursary Application Form. This will be sent to you automatically once you have applied for a place to study at Swansea and are made an offer by the University. A Bursary Application Form is not available to download - it may only be obtained from the Postgraduate Admissions Office once an offer of a place has been made to you.

 

The closing date for receipt of applications is 23rd July 2010. However, bursaries may be offered to exceptional candidates prior to the closing date. You are advised, therefore, to apply as soon as possible.

 

Applicants for the bursary must ensure that their application for a place to study at Swansea University has also been received by the 23rd July closing date.

 

Successful candidates will be informed by 1st September 2010 and a reduced tuition fee levied at enrolment.

 

If you have not yet applied for a place to study at Swansea University, you should complete a Postgraduate Application Form as soon as possible.

 

If you have been offered a place to study at Swansea but have not been sent a Bursary Application Form this may be because the course you have applied for, or your residency status mean that you are not eligible to apply. Please review the eligibility criteria above.
